Arts & Culture Commission Meeting · Meeting of April 9, 2026

CT EAST HAMPTON — Arts & Culture Commission defers officer elections, adjusts meeting schedule, calls for grants. The Commission moved regular meetings to the second Thursday of each month and added a July 9 meeting, deferring officer elections to May pending Town Council appointment of two prospective members. Library Director Christine Cachuela will facilitate meetings until officers are elected.

The Commission unanimously approved a call for community grant applications to support local artists and organizations, with a May 8 submission deadline and May 14 review. Members voted to pursue a September Gallery Night, continue an artwork inventory project, and explore an Old Home Days parade float, with $2,887 remaining in its fiscal year 2026 budget.
