Board of Finance approves $105,000 for West High Street purchase

CT EAST HAMPTON — East Hampton Board of Finance approves $105,000 for West High Street property. The board unanimously recommended acquiring 292 West High Street using Joint Facilities Committee Capital funds to support the town's wastewater treatment plant expansion, with Public Utilities Administrator Anthony DeSimone providing background on the facility expansion. The board also discussed but took no action on alternative water development sites at 288 West High Street and 1429 and 1385 Portland Cobalt Road.

Year-to-date revenue reports showed Public Works and Police departments exceeded overtime budgets but are expected to balance by year end. The fiscal year 2027 budget will be distributed March 9.
