Board of Finance · Meeting of August 17, 2026

CT EAST HAMPTON — Board of Finance approves $593,400 capital reserve appropriation. Vice-Chairman Daniel Finn and Director of Finance Jeffery Jylkka presented year-to-date FY 2026 figures showing revenue exceeding projections by $617,000, with expenditures forecasting a positive variance of approximately $340,000. The Board voted 4-2 to appropriate the unanticipated revenue to partially fund the FY 2027 Capital Improvement Plan.

Members Alison Walck and James Radavich opposed the motion, citing concerns that the funds might be needed for looming expenses. The unrestricted fund balance stands at 12.1 percent after the appropriation.
