Board of Finance unanimously reappoints PKF O'Connor Davies auditor

CT EAST HAMPTON — East Hampton Board of Finance unanimously reappoints PKF O'Connor Davies as auditor. The firm was reappointed for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, with a fee of $66,700, fulfilling the second year of a three-year agreement originally approved in 2024. Director of Finance Jeffery Jylkka explained that annual motions are required to formally engage the auditor despite the multi-year contract.
The board reviewed financial status showing the town's unrestricted fund balance stands at 11.9 percent of the FY 2026 approved budget, with fuel prices for the coming year locked in at $2.30 per gallon for gasoline and $2.50 per gallon for diesel.
