Clean Energy Task Force rejects working groups for 2026

CT EAST HAMPTON — East Hampton Clean Energy Task Force votes to reject working groups for 2026. Chair Russ Kaplan led the task force in a 6-0 vote approving prior minutes and declining to form working groups, deciding members with priority items can bring them directly to the full task force. The group advanced work on achieving Sustainable CT Bronze Certification status, adjusted EV charging station locations, and promoted home energy assessment and weatherization programs.
Silas Kavalkovich is now a full member, and Andrea Simmons is expected to be appointed at the next Town Council meeting.
