Clean Energy Task Force votes to advance House bill 5340

CT EAST HAMPTON — East Hampton's Clean Energy Task Force votes on clean energy legislation. The task force voted 6-0 to send a legislative email to state leadership on House bill 5340, while tracking Voltpost EV charging installation at Town Hall with a potential June start date for the first location. The Sustainable CT bronze certification proceeds with a May 12 Town Council vote on the pollinator pathways resolution.

The Heatsmart program is preparing a targeted renter mailing with a general community mailing to follow, while Earthlite will contribute approximately $1,500 toward solar installation on participating church roofs for the May 31 Solarize Faith event.
