Commission on Aging approves ADU zoning support and senior center treadmill purchase.

CT EAST HAMPTON — Commission on Aging backs ADU zoning resolution and senior center upgrade. Chair Dr. Eric Rosenberg and six members voted 6 to 1, with member Beth Angel opposed, to support a resolution lifting barriers to accessory dwelling units in all zones, following a presentation by Planning and Zoning Official Juliette Hodge on town zoning challenges.

The commission unanimously approved a $1,750 treadmill purchase for the Senior Center using remaining fiscal year funds, and reported 30 new memberships during the prior month with strong program attendance.
