Committee Coordinates 250th Anniversary Celebration Events

CT EAST HAMPTON — East Hampton America 250 Committee coordinates anniversary celebration events. The committee met to receive updates on multiple events planned for the town's 250th anniversary, including Old Home Days with a parade float, the Friends of the Lake Light Up the Lake event and wine tasting on September 13th, and the Lions Club picnic on Saturday, August 8th at 5:00 p.m. at Sears Park. The committee received a 750 dollar grant from the State.
Committee members are also planning presentations on the Wangunks and Joel West Smith, and working on Revolutionary War soldier cemetery markers.
