Committee coordinates America 250 events, secures trademark agreement

America 250 Committee Meeting · Meeting of February 10, 2026

CT EAST HAMPTON — The America 250 Committee coordinated planning for East Hampton's 250th anniversary at its February meeting. The town has secured a fully executed trademark agreement for the America 250 logo while members reported progress on multiple events including Old Home Days, a county parade in Middletown on July 4th, and a Cemetery Walk for Revolutionary War soldier graves. Patriotic concerts and a Light up the Lake event with an America 250 theme are planned, while August fireworks were removed from the calendar due to fundraising challenges.

Co-Chairs Kevin Reich and Jack Solomon led updates on website development, social media planning, and event coordination.
