CT EAST HAMPTON — Conservation-Lake Commission backs 2026 water monitoring agreement. The six-member board unanimously approved the EverBlue Lakes monitoring plan and set it as the commission's official protocol, after discussion of water-testing accuracy and data collection. Chairman Jason Hartling reported progress on dam owner coordination regarding calibration and drawdown scheduling, and outlined a potential U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers hydrilla research and demonstration project for summer, featuring selective treatment and public community briefings. Capital Committee discussions identified $85,000 in the aeration account and $25,000 budgeted for hydrilla treatment, though final approval of the full lake treatment plan remains pending.
