CT EAST HAMPTON — Economic Development Commission nominates Romeo's Jewelry Design as March Business of the Month. Chair Mary Milewski, Vice Chair Evan Giza, and members Todd Schrager, Nicole Romeo, and David May voted 4-0 in favor, with Romeo recusing herself. Town Planner Juliet Hodge reported two completed POCD focus groups on housing and economic development, with a March 31 deadline approaching for a T-Mobile hometown grant offering up to $50,000 per applicant from a $6 million distribution pool.
The commission discussed establishing monthly informal networking events and pursuing a Wesleyan student partnership for social media and technology support to promote local businesses.
