Economic Development Commission · Meeting of July 21, 2026

CT EAST HAMPTON — East Hampton's Economic Development Commission unanimously nominated Team Fitness for Business of the Month for August. Chairwoman Mary Milewski and members also discussed a proposed unpaid internship from Wesleyan University that would expand beyond communications and social media work to include grant writing and creation of a business inventory and vacant property lists for the town. Town Manager Dave Cox reported the Village Center project is 99 percent complete and the town received a $250,000 Brownfields remediation grant from DECD; the town Planner position is open following Juliet Hodge's departure, though she will remain as acting planner to help finish the Plan of Conservation and Development.
