CT EAST HAMPTON — Fire Commission approves LOSAP payouts for eight recipients. The five-member board unanimously authorized benefit distributions to Joe Olzaki, Steve Palmer, Ted Shumbo, Lou Harris, Paul Owen, Rich Kelley, Bill Weir, and Denise (beneficiary of Al Derosier), voting 5-0 in favor. The payouts will advance to the Town Council's next monthly meeting for final sign-off.
Consultants studying three proposed firehouse sites will deliver findings by end of June; the commission also continued review of a revised Firefighter Awards Program awaiting town approval.
