CT EAST HAMPTON — Historic district panel approves two certificates for Middle Haddam homeowners. The Middle Haddam Historic District Commission voted 4-0 to approve Application 625, authorizing Barbara Angelico of 1 Schoolhouse Lane to install a heating and cooling unit with required fence screening and painted tubing. The commission also voted 4-0 on Application 626, permitting Terry and Sylvia Garstka of 89 Middle Haddam Road to pave an existing driveway and add approximately 435 square feet of bituminous turnaround.
The commission additionally approved the May 28, 2026 meeting minutes with three minor corrections clarifying fence regulations, ZBA appeal procedures, and capitalization.
