CT EAST HAMPTON — East Hampton Conservation-Lake Commission unanimously approved a winter drawdown target of minus 28 to 30 inches for mid to end October. The commission, with six members present, also began planning to replace Everblue Lakes, whose operator has gone out of business; Chairman Jason Hartling reported that the aeration system remains operational and the Town Manager will consult the Town Attorney on equipment ownership. A sub-committee will draft an RFP for the new contractor that includes aeration operation, in-lake treatments, completion of pending watershed projects, and limnological assessment.
