Library Board approves prior meeting minutes; staffing update underway

CT EAST HAMPTON — East Hampton Library Advisory Board approves May meeting minutes, receives staffing update. Library Director Christine Cachuela reported first-round interviews this week for a vacant Children's Librarian position, with second-round talks and an offer both targeted for mid-July. The Library Page and Public Service Associate positions remain open through July 15 and July 31 respectively.
Vice Chairperson Cynthia Shirshac reported the Friends of the Library's annual "Where's Bell?" program is running through July, generating approximately $7,500 in documented retail spending at participating local businesses last year.
