Middle Haddam Historic District Commission approves two Certificates of Appropriateness

CT EAST HAMPTON — The Middle Haddam Historic District Commission unanimously approved two Certificates of Appropriateness for exterior work at 6 Blacksmith Hill Road. Applicants David and Anne Loranger received approval for clapboard and trim replacement with like-for-like materials, metal counter flashing, oil rubbed bronze hardware, and pergola removal (5-0), as well as chimney repointing with bluestone cap (5-0). In elections, the commission re-elected Charles Roberts as Chair, Casey Donnelly as Vice Chair, and Peter Pach as Clerk.

Members noted willingness among alternates to relinquish seats if new applications arrive.
