Planning Commission elects new leadership, continues Investment LLC subdivision hearing

CT EAST HAMPTON — The Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously elected Ray Zatorski as Chair and Michael Kowalczyk as Vice Chair. In its primary action, the Commission continued a public hearing on Investment LLC's two-lot re-subdivision at 8 Aldens Crossing Road to February 4, 2026, on a 6-1 vote, imposing a January 23 deadline for submission of complete plans and legal documents to the Land Use Office. The Commission also scheduled a public hearing for February 4 on a Clark Hill Road sewer extension and voted 5-2 in favor of the proposed joint facilities property acquisition at 288 and 292 West High Street as consistent with the Plan of Conservation and Development.
The Zoning Enforcement Officer has resigned; the Town Council Appointments Committee is reviewing candidates.
