CT EAST HAMPTON — Zoning Board of Appeals approves setback variance for Daly Road barn. Chairman Brian Spack and the five-member board voted unanimously to grant Kenneth Barber's request to reduce front setbacks from 50 feet to 20.88 feet along Pecausett Trail and from 50 feet to 43.4 feet along Daly Road for a 24-foot by 32-foot storage barn. Barber demonstrated that a 1953-era lot predating zoning regulations acquired a second frontage when Pecausett Trail was built, creating hardship conditions; septic and leach field systems in the rear prohibited alternative locations.
The board scheduled a public hearing for Kevin and Amanda Reed's deck variance at 5 Hawthorne for August 10, 2026.
