CT EAST HAMPTON — East Hampton Zoning Board approves two property variance applications. The board voted 4-1 on August 10 to permit a 14-by-14-foot deck at 5 Hawthorne Drive with reduced side yard setback and increased lot coverage, over objections from three neighbors citing insufficient hardship and two prior variances. In a separate 5-0 vote, the board approved a 720-square-foot garage addition for Michael Scranton at 15 Schoolhouse Drive.
The board continued Kevin Flannery's barn variance application, requested for September 14, after no representative appeared to present.
