Zoning Board approves Woodland Estates driveway variance on wetland grounds.

Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of March 9, 2026

CT EAST HAMPTON — Zoning Board of Appeals approves Woodland Estates driveway variance; schedules two new hearings. The board voted 4-1 on March 9 to allow reduction of a shared driveway from 22 feet to 15 feet wide, permit gravel sections, and accommodate four residences instead of two on property accessed from Long Hill Road. Project Engineer Rob Baltramaitis testified that the variance would eliminate approximately 2,100 square feet of direct wetland disturbance and nearly two acres of upland review disturbance that a standard-width driveway would require.

The board scheduled public hearings for April 13 on two additional applications: 11 Skinner Street LLC's request to increase lot coverage from 59 to 65 percent, and West High Enterprises' variance application to separate a residence and commercial daycare onto individual lots.
